1. Gallente/Intaki & EW - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I think the point the OP is trying to make is that the EW skill only works for JAMMERS. Damps use the Sensor Linking skill, and all our ships have damp bonuses. So why are we starting off with a skill we don't directly use? That's like giving Amar...

2. Minmatar Carriers- Pertion - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Though I don't fly a carrier, I fail to see how the Minmatar bonus is any crappier then the Amarr or Caldari bonus. It's been fairly well agreed on, and is quite obvious, that you've got to be a huge idiot taking a carrier into direct combat. So ...

3. Tech 2, Tier 2 Battlecruisers - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Perhaps instead of a rich vs poor view, look at it from the standpoint of people affected. Releasing a new t1 cruiser is exciting to waaaay more people then the small number who have been playing for 2 years. They shouldn't release JUST t2 tier 2...

4. Balance of WCS - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I still don't get the whole arguement against WCS. Because you want to do PVP, you must not be able to run? Every time I warp into an area I MUST stay there no matter what? It's not like WCS are some sort of magical thing that you just add to your...

5. Interdictors - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Someone with actual interdictor sphere experience... Are the spheres REALLY that useful? The small spheres range seems totally useless, especially for catching interceptors. The medium sphere seems better at 15k, but that still isn't much distanc...

6. Precision Missiles - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Apparently the name of the supreme commander of Germany during WW2 is a censored word. Anyway, "he" was the one who really pushed construction of the Bismark, so in this case it really is justified.

7. Precision Missiles - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
What seems silly to me is how precision cruise missle users point to real life and try to draw parallels. Apparently they don't read any history at all. If they did, maybe they would have read about the Bismark, or the Sheffield. Those are the onl...

8. Interdictors - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Dimitri Tanan on 21/03/2006 01:28:44 Somewhere close to the beginning I said I was a new player. If all you have to contribute is that I'm new so I should shut up and go away, don't clutter up the thread. According to the EVE Onlin...

9. Interdictors - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I spend 90+% of my time in 0.0. In 0.0 that is highly patrolled for pirates who like to run away. I've seen one in 2 weeks. I see interceptors every day and force recon and command ships atleast two or three times as often. These ships fulfill a r...

10. Interdictors - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Ok, so I haven't been playing all that long and I've only got 1 million SP. But I do play a support pilot and to me the most interesting support option is interdictors. Then I looked at the skill requirements for an interdictor and my jaw just dr...

11. Remote sensor dampeners - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
So I just got my Celestis fitted up today with 3 remote dampeners.... and I got a very lukewarm response. They do work noticably well, but not nearly as well as I hoped they would. They stop rails/blasters/lasers well enough, but don't really make...

12. Bloodlines Deployment Discussion Thread - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Pabs is entirely correct. Software programming is a massively complex task and there is usually no way to test something completely before you introduce it. It's not like they keep a second cluster around with 10000 players to log on all at once a...

13. Tracking disruptor - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I have some questions about how exactly tracking disruptors work. It says there is a penalty if you use two or more types, but do additional active modules just not work? Or is each successive module less effective then the last? I looked around o...

14. Nerf webbers and warp scramblers. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I like the idea of giving interceptors great bonuses to webs and interdictors great bonuses to scramblers. These two ships should be able to punch through any amount of countermeasures if they use all their slots on the items. That would of course...
